Riwax RX04 is a fine polishing compound, which is recommended to be used for buffing after wet sanding with P2000 grit size or higher. If working with lamb wool compounding pad, the sanding could be done with P1500 grit abrasive material.
Features:
- Removes minor scratches, swirls, blemishes in freshly repaired paint and cured top coats.
- The result is easy achieved leaving a good sheen.
- Suitable for removing scratches from Plexiglass and acrylic glass.
- May be applied by hand or machine.
- Silicone-free.
- The main target group is paint shops and used car preparation dealers.
Dark vehicles are recommended to be buffed the second time with polishing paste Riwax RX06 Polish or paste wax Riwax RX08 Star Finish.
Application
- Apply a small quantity of RX04 to the sanded paint area.
- Use with a buffing machine (1200 - 1600 rpm on fresh paint), preferably using a damp wool buffing pad or hard blue compounding pad. Avoid pressure on fresh paint. Increase speed and pressure on cured paint (1400 - 2000 rpm).
- Add more RX04 if necessary. Buff until the all the used material is used up.
- Remove polish residues with a microfibre towel.
