ValetPRO contamination removal bars safely remove bonded contaminants such as tar spots, fallout, bonded traffic film, and tree sap that normal washing cannot eliminate. As the bar glides over the paint surface, contaminants are lifted away, leaving a smooth finish.
Available Grades
- Blue: Heavy grade for full detailing and maximum cleaning power
- Yellow: Medium grade for enhancement and regular detailing
- Orange: Gentle grade for maintenance
The Blue grade is ValetPRO’s most aggressive contamination removal bar, designed for fast and effective removal of heavy bonded contamination. It is ideal for full paint correction jobs and uses a traditional clay formulation to deliver maximum cleaning power and speed.
It can also be used for paint enhancement details, but due to its aggressive nature it may leave light marring on the surface. This can be easily removed with a single-stage mild polish or compound, making it best suited for jobs where polishing is planned afterwards.
For best results, always use the Blue bar with a dedicated clay lubricant such as ValetPRO Clay Rider. If minimal risk of marring is preferred, the Yellow grade is recommended instead.
Application
- Split the bar in half (retain half in packaging)
- Knead the bar in your hands to warm it up
- Flatten bar into a disk shape
- Spray Clay Rider (clay lube) on a square foot of the vehicle at a time
- Glide the bar back and forth across the well lubricated surface. If bar sticks, apply more clay lube
- Inspect the bar for contamination
- Knead the bar and fold it inwards to create a clean surface
- Repeat on another square foot until the vehicle is complete
